Here’s what I plan to do at CVS this week (see Deal Seeking Mom for the full list). There are just two simple transactions, for under $5! And if you have any ECB’s from previous weeks, you’ll pay even less! The coupons that you’ll need are printed in blue.

Buy 1 Schick Slim Triple ST3 Disposable Razors, $6.99
Use (1) $3/1 Schick Disposable Razor coupon from the 8/16 Smart Source
Total After Coupons: $3.99

Transaction #2:
Buy 1 Crest with Scope Outlast Toothpaste, $3.49
Buy 2 Schick Quattro for Women Razor or Cartridges, $9.99 BOGO

Use (2) $4/1 Schick Quattro for Women or Intuition Plus Razor or Refill from the 8/23 Smart Source or August All You

I tried getting the deal on Shick Quattro razors – but CVS wouldn’t accept the $4 off coupon! It had a Target logo on it and said I could only use it there. I was really looking forward to my $2 razors!
Stephanie – Where did you get your coupons? I just checked in my 8/23 Smart Source and there’s no Target logo on it anywhere. On yours, does it specifically say that it can only be used at Target? Is it a manufacturer coupon or store coupon?
I got it from one of the inserts in the Sunday paper. I think it was last week? Or the week prior? It has a little Target logo in the center but doesn’t say anything about only being used at Target. I’m assuming if it has the logo on it then it’s a store coupon, not a manufacturer coupon?
Well, at least the razors were BOGO. Still a very good deal, although I completely forgot to use all my ECB’s! Doh!!
Stephanie – That’s really weird. Maybe it’s a regional thing because I just double-checked mine and there’s no Target logo on mine. I also looked in the comments on a few other blogs’ Walgreens posts and no one else said anything about it. If you still want to try the deal, you could go back and hope it’s a different cashier. If they give you a hard time too, tell them that it doesn’t say that it can only be used at Target and ask them if they would try scanning it anyway. If it’s a Target coupon, I don’t think it will scan (I could be wrong, though…I’ve never run into this situation).
