Frugal Friday: Papa Murphy’s Chicken-Garlic Pizza Recipe!
Posted by Admin on Aug 20th, 2009
I happen to have a slight addiction to Papa Murphy’s Chicken-Garlic Pizza. Just a slight one. Like I could eat it 3 times a day, 7 days a week for the rest of my life. No joke.
Unfortunately, that would get really expensive. Even with a coupon, a family-size pizza costs $12.88!
So I looked around on the internet, got some ideas, did a bit of experimenting and came up with a recipe that tastes exactly like Papa Murphy’s!!
Papa Murphy’s Chicken-Garlic Pizza
1 pizza crust (I’ll share my recipe soon!)
1/4 cup ranch dressing
1/2 Tbsp. garlic (I use the kind in the jar)
1 cup diced, cooked chicken
1 small tomato, diced
2 Tbsp. chopped green onions
1 cup mozzarella cheese (or more, depending on your tastes)
Mix the ranch and garlic together to make the sauce. Spread evenly on the pizza crust. Depending on the size of your crust, you might not use all of it. You just want a thin layer…if you use too much, it turns out really, really gross. Trust me.
Top with chicken, tomatoes, green onions and mozzarella cheese.
Bake at 375 for about 15 minutes, or until cheese and crust are browned.
